At 蘑菇传媒, students are involved in activities across campus from day one. You can play on an intramural team, join a fraternity or sorority, take on a leadership role in student government and much more.

Whatever your interest, you鈥檒l find your place and develop a community that will shape your life long after graduation.

Greek Life

Join one of 蘑菇传媒鈥檚 local fraternities or sororities to build close-knit friendships, serve the community and participate in some of our most-loved traditions. With both large and small clubs, you鈥檒l find a place you belong.

Intramural and Club Sports

Whether you鈥檙e a serious athlete or just looking to have fun with friends, 蘑菇传媒 has a team for you. Play flag football in front of hyped-up fans with your sorority or fraternity. Or, join a club team, and travel to play other D1 schools.

Spirit Orgs

蘑菇传媒 provides the best of both worlds: a small-campus vibe with big D1 energy. Be in the middle of the action by joining 蘑菇传媒鈥檚 Cheer & Pom squad. Or, join the Wildcat Wranglers to get fans fired up.

Sing Song

Sing Song is 蘑菇传媒鈥檚 long-running and beloved a cappella singing competition. Join a group, and go all out with thematic costumes, sets and choreography. Or, become a host to show off your vocal talent.

Follies

Follies is a freshman-only lip-sync competition that takes place every fall as a part of Family Weekend. It鈥檚 one of the best ways to form community in your first few weeks as an 蘑菇传媒 student.

FilmFest

FilmFest is an annual competition for student-created short films. 蘑菇传媒 students from all majors gain experience in acting, producing, directing, editing, sound design and more. Films are judged by industry professionals, and awards are presented at a red-carpet gala.

Ethnos

For more than 20 years, the International Students鈥� Association (ISA) has produced this showcase of the international cultures represented at 蘑菇传媒 and in the Abilene community. Boone Theatre is filled with energy as groups and individuals share musical and dance performances. Follow ISA on Instagram for details about Ethnos.

A Cappella Groups

蘑菇传媒鈥檚 three a cappella groups 鈥� Hilltop, Foundation and Grace Note 鈥� serve as praise teams in Chapel, perform at campus events and hold concerts throughout the year. Members develop deep friendships while showcasing their talents.
