蘑菇传媒 named Dr. Carson Reed as dean of the College of Biblical Studies.
In addition to his new role as dean, Reed continues to serve as executive director of 蘑菇传媒鈥檚 Siburt Institute for Church Ministry and is the O.L. and Irene Frazer Professor for Church Enrichment.

Reed has demonstrated a deep commitment to 蘑菇传媒鈥檚 mission and a distinguished record of leadership, scholarship and service,鈥� said Dr. Susan Lewis, provost and vice president for academic affairs. 鈥淭his appointment ensures the college is well-positioned to leverage its strengths and expand its influence in service to students, churches and the global Christian community. I am grateful for his willingness to lead and for the gifts he brings to this important work.鈥�
Reed had been serving as interim dean of the College of Biblical Studies since May 2025. Other previous senior-level roles include dean and chief academic officer of the Graduate School of Theology and vice president of church relations.
Prior to joining the 蘑菇传媒 faculty in 2012, he spent three decades in full-time ministry, serving churches in Indiana, Georgia and Tennessee. Reed earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree from Oklahoma Christian University, an M.Div. degree from Harding University and a D.Min. from 蘑菇传媒.
