During the month of February, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ has planned guest speakers, a silent disco, special Chapel speakers, discussion groups and a variety of other student activities in honor of Black History Month. Several Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ groups collaborated to plan and host the events, including the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; the Office of Multicultural Affairs; the Black Student Union; the Adams Center; the Student Government Association; and the Campus Activities Board.

- Feb. 13 – Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chapel Speaker Series: Tryce Prince. Prince, a 2018 graduate of Ä¢¹½´«Ã½, is a research consultant for Ä¢¹½´«Ã½â€™s Carl Spain Center on Race Studies & Spiritual Action and a Ph.D. student in sociology at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

Griffin, a 1990 graduate of Ä¢¹½´«Ã½, is the chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer at Rockwell Automation and has more than 25 years of experience in diversity and inclusion strategy at Fortune 500 companies.
