As the official higher education partner of the Texas Rangers, 蘑菇传媒 wants to help fans celebrate the start of the World Series with from RangersU highlighting the storied history of Rangers baseball.
In 2022, 蘑菇传媒 launched an educational partnership with the Texas Rangers called RangersU powered by 蘑菇传媒, which offers online academic courses for players, coaches and staff interested in enhancing their leadership development, professional skills and knowledge of all things baseball. In the summer of 2023, RangersU extended its reach by offering academic content from these player pathways to the general public through RangersU Public Courses.
In honor of the Texas Rangers鈥� appearance in the World Series, 蘑菇传媒 is sharing this brief history of the organization with Rangers fans everywhere. This engaging 20-minute video, led by John Blake, executive vice president of public affairs for the Rangers, is part of the Baseball History and Culture course 蘑菇传媒 developed for the Rangers earlier this year. Blake has spent a career in major league baseball and was recently inducted in Rangers Hall of Fame.聽

About RangersU
RangersU includes courses taught by 蘑菇传媒 faculty members, MLB experts and former Texas Rangers players, with four fully online seven-week Player Pathway blocks designed to guide players through the courses as well as assist them in continuing their education and making the most of their time at the Rangers 鈥� both on and off the field. Each Player Pathway block consists of exclusive and accredited courses 鈥� Leadership Development, Mental Performance, History of Baseball, Multicultural Communication, Teams & Team Leadership, Human Performance, Introduction to Public Speaking, and Decision Making in Organizations 鈥� that players can complete at their own pace alongside their teammates, without interfering with their commitments, training or regular season calendar. About RangersU Public Courses
In the summer of 2023, courses like Baseball History and Culture and Leadership Development were offered for only $95 for non-credit continuing education, or participants could elect to receive three hours of academic credit by submitting a learning portfolio and a $300 assessment fee.
