Types of Financial Aid

When applying for financial aid, you’ll find funding options for various academic and socioeconomic needs. To help you navigate your options, our admissions counselors offer financial aid appointments to discuss your needs and develop sustainable goals.

Your admissions materials will include your Merit Based Scholarship based on your academic record. You may also be eligible to apply for targeted Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ scholarships or obtain student employment. Remember to submit your Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) when the application opens in October 2025, then anticipate your financial aid offer from Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ in late spring!

Loans

Financial aid in the form of is borrowed now and repaid later, usually after you graduate. Your FAFSA information will determine your eligibility for federal loans, but you may also seek out private loans that will be verified by Ä¢¹½´«Ã½â€™s Office of Student Financial Services.

Grants

Unlike loans, you do not have to repay . Grant funding is renewed by sustaining your academic progress and demonstrating commitment to your education. Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ offers some need-based grants, and you may also qualify for state or federal grant aid. Like other federal funding, your eligibility for grants such as the Federal Pell Grant is based on your FAFSA filing.

Scholarships

To celebrate your achievements and endeavors, your admissions packet may include details on based on your academic merit and/or extracurricular, service-learning and leadership involvement.

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ offers on campus job opportunities that allow you to work part-time as you complete your degree gaining valuable career experience while helping to fund your education.

So how much will an Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ education cost? Our will give you an initial estimate to help you understand your potential tuition, fees and aid funds.

To ensure you have access to the maximum opportunities in need-based aid, including loans, grants, scholarships and Work-Study, complete the  (FAFSA) and request it be sent to Ä¢¹½´«Ã½. (Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ school code: 003537).
