What happened?

The National Student Clearinghouse, TIAA and Imagine360 have alerted 蘑菇传媒 that data related to 蘑菇传媒 constituents was exposed as part of breaches to their systems.

We recommend that you closely monitor your financial accounts for suspicious activity. You can also and, if necessary, consider placing a credit freeze on your credit report with each of the three credit reporting agencies. The Federal Trade Commission offers if you believe your information has been compromised.

If you are a benefits-eligible employee of 蘑菇传媒, you can access identity theft coverage at no cost. This service will offer income protection, reimbursement for allowable expenses related to the recovery of your identity, and a customer claims representative to aid you in the process of restoring your identity. What We Know

As part of a global cyberattack underway since the beginning of June, a vulnerability in a commonly used file transfer software, . Although 蘑菇传媒 does not use MOVEit, the software is used by third-party entities with which 蘑菇传媒 shares data 鈥撀爐he National Student Clearinghouse and TIAA.

How You May Be Impacted

Given the nature of the size and scope of data 蘑菇传媒 shares with the National Student Clearinghouse, TIAA and Imagine360 it is possible that sensitive data 鈥� 鈥嬧�媔ncluding birth dates and social security numbers 鈥� from many of our students and employees could be impacted. Those entities and/or others involved are in the process of notifying those whose information was included in the breaches.

What 蘑菇传媒 is Doing

蘑菇传媒鈥檚 Information Technology team is working with Human Resources and the Registrar’s Office to investigate the situation, provide information and collaborate with the third-party entities in their communications. We will continue to provide updates or recommendations as they arise.
